During these holidays, I would like to recognize and celebrate the efforts of the thousands of Colombians who, from many different places, especially in rural areas, have continued to work in 2025 to make the country more peaceful and secure.
It has been an honor to accompany officials from various State institutions, peace signatories, victims and social leaders in this joint effort to transform the realities of communities with the tools provided by the Peace Agreement.
I also wish to recognize the efforts and professionalism of the members of the Mission who, day after day, bring to life the work of the United Nations in building peace.
I extend my best wishes to all of you in 2026 and reaffirm my commitment, as well as that of the UN Mission, to continue accompanying Colombia in its pursuit of peace and security.
