As part of efforts to support journalists in Abyei. UNISFA Public Information Office and the UNMAS have launched a series of journalism trainings for media practitioners based in Abyei. A photography training attended by 12 practitioners was organized at the UNISFA HQ in September 2021. The two-part training is part of PIO efforts to strengthen engagement with the media and promote professionalism, credibility, and integrity among media practitioners. The training will seek to develop more diverse and innovative journalism in Abyei.
