SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE ANNADIF TO PARTICIPATE IN ECOWAS EXTRAORDINARY SUMMIT ON BURKINA FASO

Dakar, 02 February 2022 - After carrying out, on 31 January 2022, a joint mission in Ouagadougou with a ministerial delegation from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), Mahamat Saleh ANNADIF, is traveling today to Accra, Ghana, to participate in the second extraordinary Summit of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government on the political situation in Burkina Faso to be held tomorrow.
