Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p><strong>Inside The Legislature is</strong> an hourly interactive program with members of the Legislature speaking for the Legislature, highlighting the functions of the Senate and the House of Representatives, their law making roles, oversight responsibilities and representation. On, <strong>Inside The Legislature,</strong> Legislators discuss relations among the Executive, Legislative and the Judicial Branches of Government, addressing separation of powers and the concept of checks and balances. In today&rsquo;s edition, we focus on <strong>The Legislature and Governance </strong>and the guests are Johnson Chea of River Gee and Chair on Health Committee and Representative Richmond Anderson, Chair on Information.</p>
