The United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), Mohamed Ibn Chambas, concluded today his two-day visit to Niamey, capital of Niger. He had a series of meetings with the authorities of the country, and representatives of the United Nations system.

Discussions addressed a range of issues, including those related to the security situation, socio-economic development, governance and the UN support.
