The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), Mohamed Ibn Chambas condemns the suicide attacks on 21 November in Adamawa State, Nigeria, which resulted in several casualties.
In the context of their permanent interaction, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS) announce the formal conclusion of a joint study on Pastoralism and Security in West Africa.
