The Special Representative discusses with United Nations Resident Coordinators on the impact of COVID-19 in the sub-region

The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), Mohamed Ibn Chambas, continues his meetings with Resident Coordinators of the United Nations System in the countries of the sub-region.

These meetings are part of the work of UNOWAS with regional and international partners to assess the impact of COVID-19, and effectively coordinate United Nations support to countries of the sub-region.

These virtual meetings will be held throughout this week.
