The United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), the United Nations Electoral Assistance Division (DAE) of the Department of Political Affairs, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Organized, from 25 to 26 July 2017 in Conakry, Guinea, a seminar on "The lessons learned from the 2015-2016 elections in West Africa".

The objective of the seminar was to exchange and learn from the various electoral experiences that took place in West Africa between 2015 and 2016 in order to help the countries of the sub region to consolidate the achievements in elections organization.
