04 Feb 2020 - At the invitation of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), Mohamed Ibn Chambas, the Heads of the United Nations Missions in West Africa held their 35th High-level Meeting on 04 February 2020 in Dakar, Senegal. -
25 Jan 2020 - The United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), together with The Economic Community Of West Africa States (ECOWAS) Commission organized a Workshop to mobilize Togolese stakeholders to help ensure the holding of peaceful and violence-free presidential election, scheduled to take place on 22nd February 2020. A Declaration was issued at the conclusion of the workshop reflecting the commitment of the participants.
